Sought out this winery because wed heard about it. Not disappointed! Service was excellent - thank you James for sharing your wine knowledge and helping us pick a bottle of wine to share along with a cheese plate.
Had a wine blending evening with co-workers and it was absolutely fantastic! 30 of us easily fit in the intimate but large space and it was such a good evening. Alex is a great host and the process blending and tasting is really fun. The other really great thing about this place is that you can also visit without doing a event/class and can grab a charcuterie board and a glass of wine before an evening at the cinema. I highly recommend visiting when in the area or making a plan to go just because.
Urban Winery is such fun! We've been twice now and I highly recommend it to all because it's such a versatile space and just a lovely place to be. Alex's commitment to his craft comes across in so many ways from the helpful, knowledgeable team to the wonderful entertainment these guys deliver. Thank you and we look forward to returning!
What a place! Fortunate enough to have been twice in the space of a week and I couldn't recommend it more highly! Alex is passionate and dedicated and has worked so hard to make Urban Winery such a fantastic place to hang out. Not only that, but I feel like I know way more about wine & my palate! Your staff are great too and in particular the lovely bar lady who is smiley, cheerful & welcoming. Well done Alex & team. Look forward to telling more people about your set up and returning myself.
We had a fabulous evening hosting clients here last night. The team were superlative, Alex is not only a great winemaker but also a fabulous entertainer.This venue is great for clients or team building activities. We are going back again next week!
