We recently had the misfortune to use Carpet Call. We spent around $5,000 for a small hall and 3 bedrooms, so didn't go cheap. The "carpet fitters" that Carpet Call sent damaged every one of our 8 brand new wardrobes as well as damaging large areas of our brand new skirting boards. When the damage was pointed out they simply shrugged their shoulders. We contacted Carpet Call immediately and informed them of the damage. That was nearly 3 weeks ago and despite numerous telephone calls with Justin, we are no further forward in reaching a solution to getting the damage repaired. Carpet Call did send a "painter" twice to fix the skirting boards - on visit 1 he had to leave as he didn't have the right equipment and on visit 2 he had to leave as he couldn't repair the damage! Why didn't he didn't realise this on the first visit? Carpet Call's website quotes "We are known for our professional and knowledgeable staff". Well, we can certainly testify to the fact that this statement is completely false as our experience so far has been with staff who are neither professional, nor knowledgeable. It is shocking that Carpet Call think this is an acceptable way to treat customers and are unwilling to accept responsibility for the damage caused by their unprofessional carpet fitters. I strongly recommend that if you are buying a new carpet, then give Carpet Call a miss and use one of the other many carpet firms out there.UPDATE 12/12: The response from Carpet Call is not to be believed. I posted the exact same review on Product Review and got the exact same response from Carpet Call. I sent them my invoice number. That was over a week ago. Still no response.......UPDATE 19/12: Still no solution from Carpet Call despite numerous telephone calls.
Very bad service. It's been more than 2 months since we placed order for the roll blinds to be in our apartment. They are only good when they asked money for down payment, but they do not have intention to fulfill their job. Pay us back our 50% down payment in full !!
I just wanted to say thank you, especially to Sezer at the Moore Park Carpet Call, for my new floor. It was a very easy and seamless process, from ordering to installation. Everyone turned up, or called, when they said they would at all stages of the process: measurement, confirmation of the work date and payment of the balance, and installation. I visited the store a little before closing time but Sezer was very helpful & I didnt feel rushed to make a decision. I was trying to match an existing floor and the store had a timber laminate product that was either the same or very close to my old floor, you cant really tell the difference, so I was very happy with the end result. And I think the new floor was finished better than the existing floor. Another thing, I appreciated that Carpet Call took on this job even though it was a small job, being one bedroom. I had initially contacted someone else that I had used for a previous property and they seemed reluctant, given the price they quoted, and not returning calls. So thank you Carpet Call and Sezer for your professionalism and excellent service even though I was a customer who was only buying flooring for a small space (13 sq m). Finally my floor was being installed in an apartment, and Carpet Call were familiar with all the by-laws about minor renovations; Sezer was quick to provide the Specifications regarding the floor underlay and the companys insurance certificate to satisfy the Owners Corporation. So 5 stars and thank you again for all your help Carpet Call and especially Sezer.
This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever encountered in my life. When an installation manager Stephen tells you take it or leave it. Then something has really gone wrong in the leadership of the company and when operation managers dont want you access to the general manager then it tells me the cancer has spread. I challenge the owners and shareholders to have a good look internally your Company is in a downward spiral. Im available till Monday for a face to face meeting.
Hopeless! A total of 4 days of time of work to install carpet in 3 bedrooms , hall and stairs. The installation service is hopeless, omitting sections of carpet that had been paid for, having to go to other jobs, taking apartment keys and not having the right tools for the job and the most galling not one word of an apology! This company needs to join up its business processes sorted. DO NOT USE THEM!Follow-up to "stock" response from Carpet Call asking for invoice number, despite already having my name. Invoice Number is 07140
